Where can I get a program for the Trois-Rivières races?
Hippodrome 3R race programs are available from a number of sources. If you’re in the Mauricie region, you can pick one up at the racetrack reception desk. They are available 48 hours prior to the start of the program.

Race programs are also available at any of our betting parlors which have self-service terminals at which you can print off programs for a majority of the racetracks including H3R.

Where can I get race results?
Go to www.standardbredcanada.ca for details on harness racing.

What age restrictions apply to wagering?
You have to be 18 years or older.

What kind of food service is available at the hippodrome?
When the races are on, the hippodrome has fast-food or snack-type service available as well as a restaurant offering a self-service buffet. The buffet is served Sundays from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and Fridays from 5:30 pm to 8:30 p.m. The menu is available here under Services.

What’s the schedule on race day?
On Sundays the race program starts at 13 pm and goes through to 5  pm. The Friday evening program starts at 7 pm sharp and ends around 10 pm.

Arrive early (about an hour earlier) to get the best seats, get a program and have time to decide what bet to place in the first race.

Are there any admission fees?
Admission and parking are complementary at Hippodrome Trois-Rivières. Children accompanied by an adult are always welcome during the race program. On Sundays we offer a family area including face painting and carrousel pony rides.

Is Hippodrome 3R wheelchair accessible?
Our facilities are fully accessible to people with reduced mobility. Parking is complementary and there are a number of reserved parking spaces. A shuttle is also available between the parking area and the racetrack. The general seating area, grandstands and our restaurant are accessible by elevator.

In fair weather, you can take in the races outside on our terrace right next to the track. There you’ll be right close to the action.

Are there any bank machines at Hippodrome 3R?
There is a bank machine in the entrance hall and another in the gaming hall.

What happens if it rains?
Harness racing goes rain or shine.

What is Hippodrome 3R’s policy on alcoholic beverages?
Alcoholic beverages may not be brought in from outside sources, but may be purchased at various points of sale on site.

Anyone who appears to have consumed too much alcohol may be asked to leave the racetrack. Anyone under the age of 18 is prohibited from consuming alcohol and photo ID may be requested when purchasing alcohol. Consuming alcohol in the parking area is prohibited.

Are pets allowed at Hippodrome 3R?
Pets are not admitted except for guide dogs and guide dogs in training Note that leaving your pet in your car during your visit to the racetrack is not permitted.

Does Hippodrome 3R have a dress code?
Hippodrome 3R is a family attraction and is committed to ensuring the health and safety of everyone at the track. We therefore apply a dress code. Visitors are required to be appropriately dressed. Shirts and shoes are always required. Clothing with crude or offensive messages or graphics and bathing suits are prohibited. You may be refused access to Hippodrome 3R if management considers you to be inappropriately dressed.
